Connolly & Company was established in 2012 by Ryan Connolly. Our aim is to produce quality furniture of an exceptional standard in a range of sustainably-sourced hardwoods. The subtle shades and grain twists in these woods are inherent and desirable characteristics of natural timber and these variations give each piece of furniture its unique personality and style.

Ryan studied furniture design and manufacture in GMIT Letterfrack, County Galway in 2006 and graduated with distinction. Following that he gained experience alongside numerous skilled makers from around the world in several leading workshops in both Ireland and Germany.

He returned home to set up Connolly & Company within the grounds of his family business Connolly Furniture Limited, an upholstery manufacturer which was established in 1972 by his father.
